CapDuodenal ulcer 20 mg once daily for 4 wk. Benign gastric ulcer 20 mg once daily for 8 wk. Severe cases: 40 mg once daily. Erosive reflux esophagitis 20 mg once daily for 4 wk. Continue for further 4-8 wk if not healed. Patient refractory to other therapy: 20 mg once daily. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome 60 mg once daily. Inj Usual dose: 40 mg once daily.
Administration
Should be taken with food: Take immediately before a meal.
Special Precautions
Exclude possibility of malignancy before treatment. Impaired hepatic function. Pregnancy & lactation.
A02BC01 - omeprazole ; Belongs to the class of proton pump inhibitors. Used in the treatment of peptic ulcer and gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
